Packaging Workshop: Preserving Cleanliness Until Delivery

The packaging workshop is the final stage in the cleanroom glove production process and plays a crucial role in protecting the quality and cleanliness of products that have undergone rigorous processing. Here, gloves that meet final quality standards are carefully packaged according to various specifications, ready to be delivered to customers—primarily FDI enterprises operating cleanrooms. The meticulous handling and strict control in the packaging workshop ensure that all efforts made in previous stages to maintain quality and cleanliness are not compromised during storage and transportation.

1. Receiving and Inspecting Finished Gloves:

After undergoing post-curing processing and final quality inspection, the gloves are transferred to the packaging workshop. At this stage, a quick inspection is carried out to check the quantity and external condition of the batch, ensuring that no damage has occurred during internal transportation.

2. Sorting and Counting:

The gloves are sorted by size, type, and the specific requirements of each order. They are then accurately counted according to standard packaging specifications.

3. Primary Packaging:

This is the layer of packaging that comes into direct contact with the product, playing a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and protecting the gloves from external contaminants:

Bag Packaging: Multiple pairs of gloves are packed together into smaller bags or pouches in specified quantities. The packaging materials must ensure airtightness and be dust-free. The packing process is performed under vacuum conditions within a cleanroom environment of equivalent classification.

4. Secondary Packaging:

After primary packaging, the glove bags or pouches are packed into cartons or other containers to protect the products during storage and transportation:
Carton Packaging: The glove bags/pouches are carefully arranged into cartons according to specified quantities. The size and durability of the cartons must be appropriate to protect the products from impacts and pressure during transit.

5. Custom Packaging According to Customer Requirements (Optional):

For FDI customers who have special packaging requests (e.g., different glove quantities per box than the standard, custom branding and logos, use of specific packaging materials), the packaging workshop must be able to flexibly accommodate these requirements. This requires close coordination with the sales and production departments to ensure packaging meets the customer’s exact specifications.

6. Packaging Quality Inspection:

After completing the packaging process, a final quality inspection will be carried out to ensure:
Correct quantity: Verify that the number of gloves in each bag/package and the number of bags/packages in each carton box meet the specified requirements.
Secure packaging: Ensure that all bags/packages and carton boxes are securely packed and sealed, with no tears or openings.
Complete and accurate labeling: Check that all label information is complete, accurate, and clearly legible.
External appearance: Confirm that the external appearance of the packaging is clean and undamaged.

7. Preparation for Storage and Shipping:

The glove batches that have been packaged and quality-checked will be prepared for transfer to the storage warehouse or the shipping area. The arrangement and accurate recording of information for each batch (quantity, batch number, packaging date, etc.) must be carried out precisely to ensure smooth warehouse management and shipment processes.
Environmental and Safety Requirements:
Dust control: Ensure the packaging area is clean and free of dust to prevent contamination and maintain product cleanliness.
Occupational safety: Ensure the safety of employees when operating packaging machinery and handling goods.

Conclusion:

The packaging workshop serves as the final “guardian” for cleanroom gloves that have undergone a complex production process. The carefulness, precision, and strict adherence to packaging procedures in this workshop ensure that the products reach customers in perfect condition, fully meeting the quality and cleanliness requirements. This contributes significantly to the success of sensitive manufacturing operations of FDI enterprises with cleanroom environments.
